I painted this when I was pregnant with Hannah. Hannah means grace and favor in hebrew. This painting is what I imagined it would be like after the great flood described in Genesis~ The animals coming off 2 by 2 after 40 days of being cooped up, they can finally move as they please!  If you look at the left you'll see animals taking a drink together, a horse drinks with two mountain cats <3 The pink sky points to a new day, a new begining. The earth was covered with water in the begining, and so it was in the days of Noah because Father wanted a fresh start for His creation.
Did you know that before the flood, the Earth was actually covered in a population of giants called Nephilim? They were created out of rebellion..Not by God~ when angels had relations with human women, their offspring was giants. These giants were unable to be satisfied, and they got to the point where they were eating the humans, so that the humans called up to God for help. God chose Noah , who was a pure human, no nephilim DNA in him, and had him be the one to start the human population over. The flood's main purpose was to clean house and get rid of the wicked Nephilim. Noah's great grandfather Enoch wrote about this.
