I love bright, bold and happy colors! I love to create motion and energy with fast lines and splatter. I love this painting! I titled it The Dandelion's Dance because of the motion I see in this, it is as though the plant is dancing in the hot summer sun with all the birds and bees chirping and buzzing around it. There is so much life here, joy, and energy! Also, the "dance" of the Dandelion can be seen here as it goes through all its stages of life, from yellow flower, to closing, then opening up again as the puff ready for its seeds to take flight before it dies. 
 
This weed is one of my favorite flowers.. did you know it gets its name from the jagged tooth-like shape of its green leaves? "Dent De Leon" ~ its French for Lion Tooth.  I always thought it was Dandy Lion after its happy looking lion face! What we were taught is a weed is much much more~ GOOGle all the health benefits of consuming Dandelions! You're Welcome ;-) 
 
This ships loosely rolled in a sturdy tube. When it arives either bring it straight to a frame shop still in the tube, or if you are framing yourself, to flatten it, unroll and lay it upside down on a clean dry towel on the floor away from animals and children with books on top of it. Leave like this for a day, or as long as needed.
